William Bruce Harrison

William Bruce Harrison, 75, of Eighty Four, formerly of Mather, died Tuesday, May 1, 2018, in his home, surrounded by his family, following a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.

He was born January 23, 1943, in Waynesburg, a son of the late William Martin and Thelma Diehl Harrison.

Mr. Harrison was a graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and a 1976 cum laude graduate of Robert Morris University, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Mr. Harrison was the owner/operator of Washington Reprographics in Washington, for over 30 years.

He loved classic cars, especially Corvettes, and was a member of Steel Town Corvette Club. He was an avid golfer and was a member of Nemacolin, Southpointe and Lone Pine country clubs throughout his lifetime. Mr. Harrison also enjoyed sporting clays. He was also a member of the BPOE Elks Lodge 776 in Washington.

Most of all, Mr. Harrison enjoyed the time that he spent with his family who meant everything to him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In November of 1964, he married Juliana Grasha, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Terry (Laurie) Harrison of Eighty Four; a daughter, Cyndi (Dustin) Henry of North Strabane Township; a sister, Faye (Herman) Ross of Mather; five grandchildren, Devin, Doug, Mike, Nick and Ethan; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 8. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Full military rites will be accorded by American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175 and the U.S. Navy.
