Lady Commodores defeat Waynesburg, 9-2
The Frazier softball team scored all the runs it needed in the first two innings for a 9-2 non-section victory Wednesday afternoon over visiting Waynesburg Central.
The Lady Commodores (12-5) scored two in runs in both the bottom of the first and second innings.
Waynesburg (9-7) scored once in the top of the third, but Frazier countered with a run in the bottom of the inning.
The Lady Commodores capped their scoring with four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. Waynesburg scored its second run in the top of the sixth inning.
Logan Hartman went the distance for the win, allowing four hits with one walk and 11 strikeouts. She also had a double and single.
Emi Curcio had three singles for Frazier. Savannah Berklovich tripled. Kara Mastowski and Lauren Mastowski both had a single and double.
Rachel Elsenheimer led the Lady Raiders with a double and single. Sydney Hare and Brooke Meek both had a single.
Jordan Sibert took the loss, allowing 13 hits with one strikeout and one walk.
