Moleta Kay “Mo” Puthuff Teegarden
Moleta Kay “Mo” Puthuff Teegarden, 59, of Waynesburg, died at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018, in the Washington Health System Greene in Waynesburg following a valiant battle with cancer.
She was born Thursday, March 5, 1959 in Munich, Germany, a daughter of the late Robert Edwin Puthuff, Sr. and Meryle Arlene Wilson Puthuff.
Mrs. Teegarden was a member of the V.F.W. Post #4793 Auxiliary in Waynesburg and a former member of the American Legion Post #330 of Waynesburg and the Waynesburg Eagles Club Aire #598.
She traveled to many states as a child but settled to live her adult life in Waynesburg. She enjoyed making birdhouses, crafting, adult coloring books, daily crossword puzzles and collecting teddy bears and frogs. She retired as the manager of the Get Go formerly the BP Station in Waynesburg.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Teegarden, whom she married December 13, 2000.
Also surviving are two sisters, Susie Puthuff, of Waynesburg and Ann Marie Cox and her husband Barry of Carmichaels; two brothers, Robert E. Puthuff, Jr. and his wife Patty of Rocky Point, North Carolina and Darin Puthuff, and his fiance Dawn Talkington Calderone of East Liverpool, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and her two dogs that she loved, Wilbur and Sheba.
Deceased are one brother, David Michael “Boog” Puthuff and her two fur babies Sally and Daisy.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation. Friends and family are invited to the Waynesburg V.F.W. Social Hall, 445 East Lincoln St., Waynesburg, on Friday, May 11, 2018 for a celebration of life from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be private.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Humane Society of Greene County, 183 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370 or the American Cancer Society, PA Division Inc., S/W Region, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15205-4620.
