Lions Club selects May student of the month
JEFFERSON – Jefferson-Morgan High School senior Katelyn Wolfe was selected by the Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club as its student of the month for May.
A daughter of Shara Dorsey of Rices Landing and Leo Wolfe of Jefferson, Wolfe maintains a 3.6 grade-point average.
Wolfe is president of the Class of 2018 and participates in foreign language club, art club, Leo club and Upward Bound. She was captain of both the volleyball and basketball teams and played on the all-county team for both sports.
Wolfe volunteers at Rolling Meadows, participates in the backpack program, fundraises through student council, and places flags on graves.
In the fall, Wolfe plans to attend Waynesburg University, where she will study biology with the intent to enter the pre-med program.
