Harold Ronnie Weaver
Harold Ronnie Weaver, age 78, of Greensboro, died Sunday May 27, 2018 in the Mt. Macrina nursing home, Uniontown.
Mr. Weaver was born September 22, 1939 in Paisley, Greene County, the son of the late Jess Weaver and Dorothy Barnhart Weaver.
On October 14, 1962 Ronnie married Nancy Foote Ocker Weaver who survives.
Also surviving are three children; Jacob Ocker (Jennifer), Carol Brown (Roger/Rocky) and Jonathan Ocker; a former daughter-in-law, Peggy Ocker; two sisters, Sarah (Sally) Boal (Edward) and Dorothy (Dodie) Wally; a sister-in-law, Jane Weaver; 10 grandchildren, Jason, Gracie M, Amber, Christine and Nancy Ocker and Amy Hunyady, Jessica Humble, Samantha Johnson, Sarah and Christian Brown; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents, is a daughter, Linda Ocker; three brothers, Jesse (Kenny), Orin (Sonny) and Harry Weaver and a great grandson, Danny J. Humble.
Ron served his country in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962 in France and Holland. He retired as head of the maintenance department in Southeast Greene School District.
Ron enjoyed yard sales, flea markets and ran Weaver’s Antiques for 30 years.
Friends will be received on Thursday May 31, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Ave, Carmichaels and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Frank Vucic officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Greensboro. American Legion Post 400, Carmichaels will accord military rites with the U.S. Army.
