ELECTION MEAL – Spraggs United Methodist church will be serving food on Election Day, Nov. 6. Lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Lunch menu will include homemade noodles and sandwiches. Dinner will be served from 4:30 p.m. until sold out. Dinner menu is baked steak.
ELECTION DINNER – The Auxiliary of Center Twp. Fire Hall in Rogersville will serve food on Election Day, Nov. 6 from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 pm. Carryout will be available. Breakfast Menu: Sausage Gravy & Biscuit. Lunch Menu: Hot Dogs, Sloppy Joes, Ham B-B-Q, Cabbage & Noodles, Chili, Bean Soup, Cornbread, Desserts, Drinks. Dinner Menu served from 4 – 7 p.m. – Creamed Chicken & Biscuit, Mashed Potatoes, Peas, Applesauce, Dessert & Drink. Cost is $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children 12 and under.
DROP-IN CRAFTERNOON – Drop in at the Flenniken Public Library on Thursdays after school to craft with friends. We provide the supplies-you provide the creativity! Open to all ages. Nov. 8: Watercolor Turkeys, Nov.15: Thanksgiving Bookmarks.
MOVIE NIGHTS – Bowlby Public Library will host movie night every Wednesday evening. There will be a free snack and beverage. BOOK CLUB – Bowlby Public Library will hold a Bagged Lunch Book Club on Wednesdays, November 7 & 21 at 12 p.m. The library is kicking off a NEW book club associated with PBS’s Great American Read. Bring your lunch and let’s discuss a great book!

KNITTING CLUB – The Bowlby Public Library Knitting Club will meet on the second Thursday in November, Nov. 8 at 5:00 p.m. All skill levels welcome!
TURKEY BOWL – Bowlby Public Library will hold an After Hours Turkey Bowl on Friday, November 9, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. This is a program for families – there will be autumn themed games, crafts and snacks!
SQUARE DANCE – There will be a Square Dance (also Line Dancing, Polkas, Cake Walk & more) on Friday, November 9 , from 7 – 10 p.m. at the Center Township Fire Hall, Rogersville. Caller will be Dave Dahl. Cost is $7/adult, $10/couple, or $5/ages 12-18. Beginners welcome – or just come and watch. Food and drinks will be served beginning at 6:30. Benefits Center Twp. FREE CONCERT – Daughters of Grace will perform a fun filled concert of songs from the 1930-1970’s. The concert is Friday, November 16, at 7:00 p.m. at Greene Valley Presbyterian Church, 104 E. Greene Street, Carmichaels. Admission is free and there will be refreshments following. This is in an elevator equipped facility. An offering will be received to benefit Canine Partners for Life: Prison Puppy Program, a non-profit group providing service dogs to assist folks in our area.
TURKEY TROT – The second annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk and 1K Children’s Wobble Gobble Fun Run will be held at the Bowlby Public Library on Saturday, November 17. Registration begins at 8:15 a.m. You can register early at www.runsignup.com or at the library circulation desk.

COLORING PROGRAM – The Eva K. Bowlby Library in Waynesburg is presenting “Color Outside the Lines,” a program for adults who may be interested in the latest craze of adult coloring books. Coloring books are not just for children. The process of coloring has been shown to be stress-reducing, calm-inducing and joy-producing, for people of all ages. The library will provide coloring sheets and supplies to get you started. Join the library weekly every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or from 6 to 8 p.m. at the library.
WEIGHT SUPPORT – T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is a weight management support group that meets every Saturday at the Bowlby Library from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. New members are always welcome.
