John R. “Casey” Jones III
John R. “Casey” Jones III, age 64, of Greensboro, died October 27, 2018 in Waynesburg Health and Rehab Center.
Mr. Jones was born February 4, 1954 in Waynesburg, the son of the late John R. and Irene Hughes Jones Jr.
John is survived by two children, Matthew Casey Jones, of Greensboro and Brianna Collins of Uniontown; two sisters, Robin Addis, of Uniontown and Sheila Ellis (Mike), of Garards Fort; two brothers, Jeffrey Alan Jones (Gloria Jean), of Greensboro and Daniel DeWitt (Tiffany), of Greensboro; a grandson, Bentley Collins and several nieces and nephews and his former wife, Lorraine Tedrow.
Mr. Jones was a retired miner from the Duquesne Light, Warwick Mine at Greensboro.
He was a proud member of the U.M.W.A. and a social member of the Greensboro V.F.W.
Friends will be received in the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Ave., Carmichaels, on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
