By For The Greene County Messenger 1 min read

Luke Santo’s layup with about three seconds left in the game Monday night lifted visiting Frazier to a 51-49 non-section victory at West Greene.

The Pioneers (7-14) were unable to get off a shot in the final three seconds.

West Greene had quarter leads of 14-10 and 29-21 in the first half, but the Commodores (7-14) cut into the deficit to tie the game at 36 after three quarters.

Santo and Justin Novak shared team-scoring honors for Frazier with 14 points apiece. Elijah Santoro added 13 points. Novak and Santoro both grabbed 10 rebounds.

Ben Jackson scored a game-high 20 points for the playoff-bound Pioneers.
