Lady Falcon runners win another section title
The Brownsville girls won another Section 3-AA cross country title with a pair of season-ending wins at McGuffey.
The Lady Falcons finished with a 10-0 record after defeating West Greene, 19-36, and McGuffey, 15-50. The Lady Pioneers also defeated McGuffey, 15-50.
Gionna Quarzo broke the tape in 20:17 to take first place. JoJo Quarzo crossed the finish line 41 seconds for second place. The Lady Falcons’ Ashton Reposky secured the victory with her third-place finish in 25:08.
Hannah DeWitt (5, 25:37) and Emma Seto (8, 29:10) also had top-10 finishes for Brownsville.
Katie Lampe was the first West Greene girl across the finishing line after she placed fourth in 25:28. Kiley Meek (6, 25:41), Isabella Stokes (7, 28:12), Sara Collins (9, 31:33), and Lexi Six (10, 31:47) also had scoring runs for the Lady Pioneers (7-3).
