WWII and Korea era vets invited to marshal Veteran’s Day Parade

The Greene County Veteran’s Council is commemorating the 65th anniversary of Veteran’s Day with a parade on Nov. 9 in downtown Waynesburg.
The parade will take place rain or shine. It starts at 10:45 a.m., with line-up beginning at 9 a.m. All floats and units should be in place before 10:25 a.m.
Parade participants must pre-register to participate by filling out an application. The parade’s line-up will be based on the order in which applications are received. Applications must be received by Nov. 1.
Participants will be emailed their line-up number and parking location prior to Nov. 9.
Following the parade, the Waynesburg American Legion will host a ceremony and all are welcome.
Any World War II and Korean War era veterans wishing to participate can be grand marshals at this year’s parade.
