Carmichaels Civic Club hosts volunteers
The Carmichaels Women’s Civic Club recently had its October meeting with guest speakers, Jill Peth, Blueprints RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) Coordinator and Nelda Kern, RSVP volunteer.
Peth spoke about the ways RSVP of Greene County offers meaningful and rewarding volunteer opportunities for adults ages 55 and over, such as home delivered meals drivers and helping at food banks.
Kern spoke about the benefits of volunteering, including the opportunity to meet new people and the rewarding experience of making a difference in our communities.
