Trojans win on the road at Mapletown, 41-6
Jaedan Zuzak scored the first two touchdowns of the game last Friday night and visiting California didn’t look back as the playoff-bound Trojans returned home from Mapletown with a 41-6 Tri-County South Conference victory.
Zuzak added another touchdown in the third quarter and finished the game with 124 yards rushing on only six carries.
Lucas Qualk had a 28-yard interception return for the Trojans (6-1, 7-3) and Malik Ramsey returned a kickoff 82 yards for a score.
Landon Stevenson scored the lone touchdown for the Maples (1-6, 2-8) on a 4-yard run in the third quarter. Zach Greene finished with 63 yards on the ground on 11 carries.
Stevenson finished his freshman year with 987 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns, and also caught 19 passes for 370 yards and three more TDs.
