A traffic stop in Waynesburg earlier this month resulted in the arrest of a borough woman on multiple drug charges.

According to the criminal complaint, Walls was driving 45 mph in a 25 mph zone shortly before 10 p.m. on Aug. 17. A traffic stop on East Greene Street revealed she had outstanding warrants for her arrest.

Waynesburg police found suspected drug paraphernalia in the vehicle as well as baggies containing crystal and white powder substances, as well as multiple empty baggies, a scale with residue, eight suspected Gabapentin pills and brass knuckles, according to the complaint.

Walls was sent to Greene County jail on $100,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled before Balint on Sept. 7.
