Carmichaels Area Women’s Civic Club names March Girl of the Month

Ava Simons is the Carmichaels Area Women's Civic Club's March Girl of the Month.
The Carmichaels Area Women’s Civic Club sponsors and honors a senior class member at Carmichaels Area Jr./Sr. High School each month during the school year. March’s Girl of the Month honoree is Ava Simons. The daughter of Justin and Elizabeth Simons, she is the captain of the Carmichaels varsity cheer squad, as well as a member of the National Honor Society, Senior standing committee and yearbook staff.
Activities outside of school include working at the Uniontown Prom Shoppe and EQT Rec Center and lifeguarding during the summer.
After graduation, Simons plans to attend Pierpont Community and Technical College and study radiology technology to become a traveling MRI technician.
