Students from Carmichaels High School recently joined forces with state conservation officials to plant trees at Wana B Park in Cumberland Township. The project was part of a partnership between the school and the state. Students learned about different types of trees located in the park, and then planted more trees to increase the biodiversity there. The students created plaques identifying the trees they planted in the park, and also planted trees at their school.
