NORTH UNION TOWNSHIP Fleeing: Conrad Blair, 61, of Uniontown faces numerous charges after he allegedly fled from a traffic stop around 9:30 am. on Friday. According to court paperwork, when state police tried to stop Blair near Industrial Park Drive, he fled at a “high rate of speed.” His vehicle eventually crashed into a ditch and flipped onto its roof, the complaint stated. Police said Blair was transported to a West Virginia hospital for treatment, and a passenger in the vehicle refused medical attention. Redstone Township requests legal review of Right-To-Know request in officer-involved shooting

Redstone Township officials have requested a 30-day legal review in response to a Right-To-Know (RTK) request to glean more information about an officer-involved shooting. The request submitted on behalf of the Herald-Standard asked for records of any paid or unpaid leave for officers in the township’s police department, and the name of all of the officers, their job titles, salary, length of service and copies of their employment contracts.
