The Spraggs United Methodist Church hosted its annual Lawn Festival on Saturday, June 29 at 5 p.m.

Guests enjoyed a full menu, including creamed chicken sandwiches, homemade noodles, sloppy Joes, hot sausages and dogs, ham BBQ sandwiches, potato and macaroni salad and a variety of pies, cakes and cheesecakes. All food was made, donated and served by parishioners.

Every year, the church hosts this festival on the last Saturday in June. The festival started outside on the church’s lawn, hence the name, but over the years it became too difficult so now it takes place in the air conditioned basement. All proceeds go back to the church.

A similar festival will take place at Valley Chapel United Methodist Church in Brock on July 13 at 5 p.m.
