PennDOT District 12 would like to update motorists on the approximately 10 miles of Route 19 that will be resurfaced in Greene County this season. Each roadway is different so these daylight projects may include milling, base repair and placing an asphalt overlay.
The contractor on this approximately $2.8 million project is Golden Eagle Construction Co.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers when necessary and the project depends on the weather conditions. Locations are approximate.
Route 19 from approximately Waynesburg north to the Greene County / Washington County line (Washington Road) in Franklin and Washington townships – Currently milling and base repair is being conducted. Expect paving in the near future.
A small section of Route 19 (Mount Morris Road) just north of the West Virginia state line – Currently milling and base repair being conducted. Expect paving work to be conducted in the near future.
This surface improvement project consists of 2” milling, asphalt paving, base repair, pavement markings, miscellaneous drainage improvements and other miscellaneous construction on portions of Route 19 approximating 9.27 miles from the West Virginia State Line to Mechanic Street in Mt. Morris and from 5th Avenue in Waynesburg to West Dividing Ridge Road at the Greene/Washington County Line.
