State police said, on Feb. 18 a little before 6 p.m., Todd Eddy, 54 of Spraggs was pulled over on Route 21, just west of Murtha Drive in Franklin Township. State police said Eddy had crack cocaine, heroine and paraphernalia so he was taken into custody for DUI and drug possession. Police said Eddy was transported to Greene County Jail, pending a preliminary hearing and is also facing charges from Masontown Police Dept. for unauthorized use.
On Feb. 26 a little before 3 a.m., state police said Tonya Jane Conard of Rices Landing was driving drunk and, while officers were arresting Conard, she thrashed away from troopers, fought and threatened them. Once in the police car, she urinated in the back seat and bit one of the officer's in the arm while he was trying to put her seat belt on. Once in custody at the Pennsylvania State Police station in Waynesburg she "became irate, spitting on the floor of PSP Waynesburg several times and hitting a wall area, causing a picture frame to fall and break," state police said. State police said she was arrested on multiple charges including aggravated assault on law enforcement, harassment, resisting arrest, DUI, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and simple assault.
