Vehicles collide

Two vehicles were involved in a minor rear-end collision at 5 p.m. June 16 on Route 21 in Franklin Township, state police said. Elizabeth Wolfe, 37, of Mount Morris, was stopped for a red light in the westbound lane of Route 21 at the intersection with state route 8006 when Olivia Mason, 25, of Wheeling, W.Va., also traveling west, became distracted and struck the rear of Wolfe’s vehicle, police said.

Tools stolen

State police said a Dewalt porta band saw and a Dewalt cordless drill were stolen sometime between 10 p.m. April 25 and 8 a.m. April 26 from a trailer belonging to Sargent Electric, 2907 E. Roy Furman Highway, Carmichaels.


Harley Gee, 20, and Garry Dickson, 46, both residents of the Evergreen Mobile Home Park, Greensboro, were cited by state police following a dispute June11 at the mobile home park in Monongahela Township.

DUI crash

State police arrested Kevin Yeager, 33 of Sycamore, charging him with driving under the influence following a crash at the intersection of Chartiers and Mahle roads in Morgan Township shortly before 9 p.m. June 9. Police said Yeager was traveling south on Chartiers Road, went off the road and struck a utility pole. The vehicle continued to travel through the southbound lane and went off the road again, this time striking a tree and bursting into flames. Police said Yeager sustained just minor injuries.
