Restaurant Robbed

Dustin Virgili, 29, of Mather was charged with theft after state police said he entered the Golden Dragon Restaurant in Jefferson Township on Nov. 21 at about 7:30 p.m. and stole the cash register. Virgili attempted to run away with the register but dropped it as he was being chased by store employees. According to investigators, Virgili was wearing a mask to conceal his identity but was later located by police.

Tools stolen

State police said an unidentified person stole $2,100 worth of tools from a house on Toms Run Rd. in Jackson Township sometime between Nov. 8 and 12.

Three-car crash

State police said lanes in both directions on Route 21 in Franklin Township near Ed Rice Road were closed on Nov. 27 from about 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. following a three-vehicle crash. No one was seriously injured. All vehicles were towed from the scene.
