A once thriving coal mining town, and the site of the Naomi Mine explosion, Dec. 7, 1907, Fayette City continues to look for ways to attract visitors. Herald-Standard visual journalist Kelly Tunney spent several days with Fayette City residents, and business owners who offered insight in to the uniqueness of this quiet river town.
