FAYETTE COUNTY FIREMEN’S ASSOCIATION will meet at 8 p.m. Friday at the Newell Volunteer Fire Department. The meeting will be held at the Newell Moose. The May 3 meeting will be held at Brownsville 1, North Side. CATHOLIC BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL WOMENS ASSOCIATION will meet at 5:30 p.m. April 8 at the Amvets Post 103, Hopwood. Reservations can be made with Mrs. Montgomery as soon as possible. A dinner will follow the meeting.
BOWLBY LIBRARY POETRY GROUP, Waynesburg, will meet from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday. Anyone interested in joining the group is asked to call 724-627-9776.
FAYETTE COUNTY BOARD OF ASSISTANCE will meet at 4 p.m. Monday in the office located at 41 W. Church St., Uniontown. Questions from the public will be answered.

BOWLBY PUBLIC LIBRARY, Waynesburg, is conducting registrations for Once Upon A Time Readers Theater. Sessions begin Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and are open to children ages 7 to 12.
