Helen Fortuna Tropek, 78, of Lima, Ohio, a graduate of Brownsville High School, Brownsville, Pa., who had been employed as a Cashier at the former Kart’s Ladies Fashion Store in Brownsville, and was born in Brownsville, Pa., died Friday, March 8, 2002, at 2:14 p.m. in St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, Ohio. She is survived by three daughters: Shirley and her husband, Donald Sprague, of Plano, Texas, Betty and her husband, Michael Miller, of Coral Springs, Florida, and Kathy Tropek Kunkleman of Dublin, Ohio; brothers: Anthony Fortuna of Brownsville, Pa., and Joseph Fortuna and his wife, Marlene, of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Anne Fortuna Kosty of Brownsville, Pa.; and grandsons: Matthew Sprague, Timothy Sprague, Joseph Miller, David Miller, and Mark Miller.

The Family received Friends at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio, on Thursday, March 14, from 2 to 8 p.m. and gathered in St. Charles Roman Catholic Church. Lima, on Friday, March 15, at 10 a.m.
