Miriam A. Thompson Huffine, 87, of Taylors, South Carolina, and formerly of Dawson, Pa., died Sunday, March 31, 2002, in Allen Bennett Hospital, Greer, South Carolina. She is survived by sons and daughter: Eugene Huffine of Travelers, South Carolina, Gerald Huffine of Taylors, South Carolina, and Arlene Burd of Punxsutawney, Pa.; 23 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Clara Thompson Strickler of Arnold City, Pa.

Friends will be received at Ralph E. Galley Funeral Home, Dawson, Pa., today, April 3, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
