Patricia L. “Pat” Peyton Zueger, 71, of Jefferson Township, Grindstone, Pa., died Tuesday, April 2, 2002, at home. She was born January 7, 1934, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of Lester Peyton and Norma Hasson Peyton.

Pat was the former proprietor of Cloverleaf Bar and Lounge in Perryopolis, Pa., for 27 years.

Her husband, Martin L. Zueger, died in 1972. A sister, Ruth Whipple, and her parents are also deceased.

She is survived by six children: twins Ruth K. Stewart and husband Richard and Martin D. Zueger and wife Karen, and David W. Zueger all of Jefferson Township, Grindstone, Pa., James C. Zueger of Bitner, Pa., Mark W. Zueger of Maryland, and Mary L. Willson and husband, William, of Jefferson Township, Fayette City, Pa.; 12 grandchildren: Randi Stewart, Martin W. Zueger, Dana Zueger, Christy Zueger, Jamie Zueger, Jennifer Zueger, Julie Cardenas, Jessica Zueger, James Zueger, Joshua Zueger, Jacob Willson, and Joni Willson; seven great grandchildren; three sisters: Catherine Lane of Columbus, Ohio, Joyce Bretch of Henderson, Nevada, and Nancy Reed of Grove City, Ohio; a special aunt, Alice Hasson of Hagerstown, Maryland; sisters-in-law: Mary Heiser of Girdletree, Maryland, and Margaret LaVerne of Columbia, South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 139 West Fayette Street, Uniontown, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, April 6, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service.

Interment will follow in Mount Washington Cemetery, Perryopolis, Pa.
