Andrew Rokos, 78, of Keisterville, Pa., passed away suddenly Thursday, April 4, 2002, at his home. He was born November 13, 1923, in Keisterville, Pa., son of the late Andrew and Pauline Potryia Rokos.

Andy was a member of St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church in Smock and formerly of St. Casimir Chapel in Keisterville.

He was a Veteran of World War II who served with the United States Army in the 153rd Engineer Battalion and a retired Machinist.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by these sisters and brothers: Mary Rokos, Helen Moskal, John Rokos, Edward Rokos and William Rokos.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, April 6, until 9 a.m. when Transfer Prayers will be said.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows in St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, Smock, with Rev. Fr. John A. Sedlak as Celebrant

Interment will follow in Saint Hedwig Church Cemetery, Brier Hill.

The Partner Parish Rosary will be prayed this evening at 7:30 p.m.

Vigil Prayer Service will be held at 8:30 p.m.
