Local church plans revival

Greenwood United Methodist Church of Connellsville is having a revival Sunday, April 14, through Wednesday, April 17, at 6:30 p.m., with the theme “Pray Hard.’ Conference evangelist the Rev. Terry Collins will speak. The Rev. William Randolph is pastor. Officials said, “Each night will be filled with uplifting music and fellowship and refreshments.’

Youth night will be April 16, featuring the local band Last Full Day with contemporary Christian music. Greenwood will round out the week with Hymn Sing 2002 on Saturday, April 20, at 7 p.m., sponsored by the Fayette County National Day of Prayer Committee. Speaking at the event will be Jim Kriek, master of ceremonies, lay leader of Greenwood United Methodist Church, and Rev. Randolph. Todd Sproul, Roman I, Megan Allison and others will provide special music. HSTV will broadcast the event. A time of fellowship and refreshment will follow. For more information, phone 724-626-1790.
