Gloria Zoes Shaw

Gloria Zoes Shaw, 76, formerly of Ambridge, Pa., a resident of Riverview Personal Care Home in Brownsville since 1990, died Thursday, April 4, 2002, in IHS Greenery of Canonsburg, Pa. Born February 20, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Frank Zoes and a foster daughter of the late Wilbert and Hazel Spencer Shawl.

Besides all of her parents, she was preceded in death by foster brother, Merle Shawl, and three foster sisters, Marion Bell Arthur, Esther Inman and Alice Sevin.

Gloria attended the former West Brownsville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.

She was a Nurses Aide in various hospitals and she loved cats.

Gloria will be sadly missed by a special niece who guided her care, Dorothy Molter and her husband, Walter, of Baden, Pa.; many other nieces and nephews; and by a foster sister, Betty Wallis and her husband, Clarence, of Lakeland, Florida.

The Family will receive Friends in the CONFER FUNERAL HOME, 515 FRONT STREET, BROWNSVILLE, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, April 8, from 10 until 11 a.m. Funeral Services will then be held by Rev. Robert E. Ellenberger, Assistant Pastor of Cherry Tree Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Uniontown.

Private Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to: American Respiratory Alliance of Western Pennsylvania, Cranberry Professional Park, Cranberry Township, Pittsburgh, Pa.
