Carl-Hess
Bridget J. Hess and Matthew R. Carl, both of West Warwick, R.I., were married Oct. 6 in a ceremony celebrated by the Rev. Scott Gallagher at Fredericktown United Methodist Church. A reception followed at Nemacolin Country Club.
The bride’s parents are Bernard and Andrea Hess of Richeyville. The bridegroom’s parents are Robert and Sirje Carl of Jamestown, R.I.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Linda Phelan, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Knisely, cousin of the bride; Sherry Skakandy, fianc’ of the bride’s brother; Amanda Falconer and Kristen Murray. Brooke Bilitski was flower girl.
Best man was Steven Carl, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Thomas Carl, brother of the bridegroom; Bernard J. Hess III, brother of the bride; Dan DiDonato, and Dan Brownridge.
The bride is a graduate of Beth-Center High School and California University of Pennsylvania. She is a supervising teacher at Pathways Strategic Teaching Center in Warwick.
The bridegroom is a graduate of North Kingstown High School and California University of Pennsylvania and the University of Rhode Island. He is a physical therapist with D & H Therapy in Pawtucket, R.I.
The couple honeymooned at Coral Gables, Fla.
They are living at 27 Clair St., West Warwick.
