Betty Jane Myers Rosenberger, 79, of Markleysburg, Pa., passed away Monday, April 8, 2002, in South Fayette Health Care. She was born August 12, 1922, in Friendsville, Md., daughter of the late William and Mary Fisher Myers. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two daughters, Bonnie Rosenberger, Brenda Rosenberger Otto; three brothers and a sister William “Jr.” Myers, Gilbert Myers, Gene Myers and Ruth Myers Smith.

Surviving are her husband Samuel Hughes Rosenberger; a son Jack Hughes Rosenberger and wife Mary of Markleysburg; five grandchildren, Donna Jo Rosenberger Show, Jack Allen Rosenberger, Jodie Marie Rosenberger Lewis, Louis “Duke” Otto, Wendy Jo Rosenberger Sickles; seven great grandchildren, Paul Allen Show, Louis Charles “L.C.” Otto, Justin Allen Roseberger, Breana Otto, Hannah Louise Sickles, Tyler Lee Lewis, Kyle Robert Rosenberger; many nieces and nephews.

Betty was a member of Markleysburg Church of the Brethren. She had worked at Berkowitz Corporation, drove a mail truck, sold Avon and worked at Spear Nursing Home, as well as being a homemaker.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME FARMINGTON, today from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday until 11 a.m. the hour of service with Rev. Mark Lawson and Rev. Richardo Alicastro officiating.

Interment will follow in Thomas Cemetery.
