Underage drinking
State police said Mary Penich, 20, of Carmichaels was charged with underage drinking after an incident Friday at 3:25 a.m. Charges were filed at the office of District Justice Lee Watson, police said.

Harassment
State police said charges are pending against a Spraggs woman who reportedly threw a bottle of cleaning liquid at Linda Harshman of Jefferson as she was attempting to disconnect the power to the woman’s home Tuesday at 9:35 a.m.
Cumberland Twp.
DUI accident
State police said Becky Cain of Crucible failed to negotiate a curve while driving along a legislative route Friday at 2:50 a.m. and struck a tree.
Cain was charged with DUI and the charges were filed at the office of District Justice Lee Watson, police said.
Upper Tyrone Twp.
Criminal mischief
An 18- by 24-inch window was broken on a mobile home on Bradley Street between 3:45 and 4:45 p.m. Monday, state police at Belle Vernon said.
The owner is Kimberly Jane Jordon, 40, of Scottdale.
Westmoreland County
Accidental death
A 41-year-old Jacobs Creek man died early Tuesday after he was struck by a westbound CSX train while he was lying on the railroad tracks along a legislative route in South Huntingdon Township, state police at Belle Vernon said.
Police said Westmoreland County Deputy Coroner Joseph Musgrove pronounced Michael J. Morris Sr. dead at the scene at 12:45 a.m.
Police were assisted at the scene by Rostraver EMS and the South Huntingdon Volunteer Fire Department.

Vehicle fire
No injuries were reported in an incident in which a vehicle traveling on Route 119 south caught on fire at 5:50 p.m. Monday, state police said.
A vehicle driven by Agnes R. Chalfant, 71, of Uniontown was traveling south on Route 119 when the vehicle caught on fire. Chalfant got the vehicle off the road and into a parking lot.
