Alice Shook, 72, of Brownsville, Pa., passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2002, at Brownsville General Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and dedicated homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Albert VanDivner and the late Jenny Mae Lancaster. Also, her husband, Clifford Shook.

Survivors include one son, Andrew Roberts, and wife, Debra, of Brownsville; two brothers: Donald VanDivner of Brownsville, Pa., and Clyde VanDivner of Taylor, Pa.; one sister: Trillis Cronin of Brownsville, Pa.; five grandchildren: Chris Roberts, Angela Perkins, Rachel, Brandy and Andrea Roberts; and four great-grandchildren: Andrew Roberts, Donald Mark, James Perkins, and Christopher Roberts.

Friends may call at the LAW FUNERAL HOME, 135 Angle Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. At 3 p.m., Elder Cyril McCraken will deliver a eulogy. In accordance with her wishes, the funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Law Funeral Home, 135 Angle Street, Brownsville, Pa., 15417.
