Antoinette M. Pryor
Antoinette M. Pryor, 74, of Marianna, Pa., died Thursday, April 11, 2002, in the Donnell House, Washington, Pa. She was born October 3, 1927 in Scottdale, Pa., a daughter of Anthony and Louise Citro.
She had attended the Scottdale area schools and was a 1945 graduate of Uniontown High School. Mrs. Pryor was a homemaker and an active member of the St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Sts. Mary and Ann Roman Catholic Church in Marianna. She was also a member of the Christian Mothers Society and the Ladies of Charity at the church. Mrs. Pryor was an avid sports fan and a longtime member of the Beth-Center Kickoff Club. She also enjoyed cooking and baking.
On June 26, 1952 she married Dominic V. Pryor who survives. Also surviving are; two sons, Frank A. Pryor of Fredericktown and Anthony L. Pryor of Pittsburgh; one sister Angeline Scacchi of Connellsville; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Frankie, Caroline, Katharine and Laura Pryor and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are: one brother Tony Citro and two sisters Pauline Rogers and Rose Eannareno.
Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 12 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the NICHOL FUNERAL HOME, 1728 Main St., Marianna, Pa., where a Prayer Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2002.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Sts. Mary and Ann Roman Catholic Church in Marianna with the Rev. Edward Litavec as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in the Horn Cemetery, Marianna, Pa.
The Christian Mothers Society will recite the Rosary at 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. A Parish Vigil Service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Donnell House, Washington, Pa.
