George and Lillian Hone of Vanderbilt announce the engagemenet of their daughter, Kristy Lynn, to Christopher Meeks of Republic, son of Clifford and Linda Meeks of Republic. The bride-elect is a 1996 graduate of Connellsville Area High School and is a receptionist at Pechin Shopping Village.

Her fiance is a 1997 graduate of Frazier High School and is employed by Pepsi Cola, Youngwood.

The couple chose July 5, 2003, as their wedding date.
