William E. “Billy” Cross, 16, of Alverton, Pa., a junior at Southmoreland High School where he was a member of the football team and the chorus, and also a member of Boy Scout Troop 155, Scottdale, Pa., where he was working on a Merit Badge toward Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 11, 2002, from his residence. He is survived by his parents, Francis P. Cross and Sun Ok “Kim” Cross; a brother, Michael E. Cross; six uncles and four aunts: Raymond Cross and his wife, Gloria, Harry Cross Jr. and his wife, Karen, Joe Cross, Steve Cross and his wife, Denise, David Cross, and Tim Cross and his wife, Sharon; several cousins; and numerous friends.

The Family will receive Friends at the Eugene G. Saloom Funeral Home Inc., 730 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, Pa., today from Noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, April 15, until 2 p.m.
