Frank J. Szallay, 81, a former lifetime resident of Daisytown, Pa., who had been employed at Jones & Laughlin Steel Corporation’s South Side Works for many years and retired in 1982 from Bethlehem Mines Mine 51 in Ellsworth, Pa., died Sunday, April 14, 2002, in Hawthorne Woods Assisted Living, Washington, Pa. He is survived by three children: Marlene Szallay Pepper of Levittown, Pa., Suzanne Szallay Campbell of Fairless Hills, Pa., and Frank D. Szallay of Washington, Pa.; a brother, John Szallay of Florida; 13 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive Friends in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Route 40, Beallsville, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, April 17, until 10 a.m.
