Ethel H. (Humberston) Pettis, a native of Fayette County, Pa., and a resident of Spanish Fort, Baldwin County, in the Mobile, Alabama, area since 1942, died Saturday, March 23, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Alvin A. Pettis; daughters: Mary Pettis Johnson of Spanish Fort, Alabama, Marie Pettis Medina of Nutley, New Jersey, and M. Dianne Pettis of Memphis, Tennessee; sisters: Esther Humberston Naranjo of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Edna Ruth Humberston Myers of Markleysburg, Pa.; brothers: John Humberston of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Elmer Humberston of Confluence, Pa., and Clyde Humberston of Markleysburg, Pa.; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The Family received Friends in Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6040 Three Notch Road, Mobile, Alabama, on Monday, March 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 26, until the service at 10 a.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.
