Window broken

Dana Bordner of Elwood Street reported to city police at 4:16 p.m. Monday that the driver’s side door window on a vehicle was broken while it was parked on the street.

Assault arrest

Adam Lloyd, 24, of Isabella was arrested Monday for aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for an incident that occurred on April 3, city police said.

Lloyd allegedly struck Brandon Stock of Chalk Hill in the head with a beer bottle inside the Highland House bar, police said. Stock received several stitches.

Lloyd was arraigned before District Justice Rick Vernon and placed in the Fayette County Prison in lieu of $10,000 10 percent bond.

Disorderly conduct

Paula Lynch, 43, of South Mount Vernon Avenue was cited for disorderly conduct for allegedly yelling and causing a disturbance outside her home at 12:35 a.m. Tuesday, city police said.

License plate stolen

Twila Costabile, 43, of Ohiopyle reported to city police at 1:47 p.m. Monday that her license plate was stolen while she was parked at the Uniontown post office.

The plate number is DSL6120.

Man arrested

City police arrested David Bucci, 30, of Dupont Village Road, Uniontown, on a bench warrant from Luzerne County after he was discovered shaking meters in the 911 parking lot at 5:14 a.m. Tuesday.

Machine damaged

City police discovered an A&W Root Beer machine in the middle of West Main Street at 2:59 a.m. Tuesday.

The machine was taken from the parking lot of Superior Detail. Damage to the machine was $1,000 and damage to the street was $500.

Three cited

Two juveniles and an adult were cited Sunday for disorderly conduct for an incident that occurred on Mifflin Avenue, city police said.

James Hairston, 38, of Millview Street was cited along with the juveniles.

Garage door damaged

Lou Johnson of Lincoln Street reported to city police at 5:07 p.m. Monday that someone hit his garage door with a car and left the scene sometime during the day.

Forged prescription

City police are investigating an incident in which a forged prescription was discovered at Rite Aid Pharmacy on Connellsville Street at 2:44 p.m. Monday.

Structure fire

The state police fire marshal was dispatched to a structure fire on Gans Woodbridge Road at 8:09 a.m. Monday, according to the Fayette County 911 Center.

Smithfield, Fairchance and Haydentown fire departments responded, as well as Fairchance EMS.

Stolen vehicle recovered

A 1988 Chevrolet Camaro stolen from Maryland on March 16 was recovered in the parking lot of Koci’s Bar in Pit Gas at 10 a.m. March 26, state police at Washington said.

The vehicle is owned by Dustin Lloyd Codey Ray, 18, of Baltimore, Md.

Burglary

A Canon 35-mm camera and a Remington 12-gauge model 1187 shotgun were taken from a home on Golden Oaks Road between 10 a.m. April 6 and 6 p.m. April 8, state police at Waynesburg said.

The owner is Ryan Crouse.

Burglary

A Jensen AM/FM/CD car receiver and a 12-inch speaker were taken from Radio Shack in Carmichaels after it was broken into on Route 88 at 1:10 a.m. Monday, state police at Waynesburg said.

DUI arrest

Lisa Mae Elliot, 33, of Rogersville was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 21 and Hillhouse School Road at 3:08 a.m. Saturday, state police at Waynesburg said.

Her blood-alcohol level was .203 percent. Charges were filed in the office of District Justice Neil Canan.

Unauthorized use of vehicle

State police at Waynesburg are investigating an incident in which someone known to Gene N. Watson, 67, of Waynesburg borrowed his 1989 Plymouth Acclaim on April 11 and failed to return it.

Hit-and-run probed

Charges of hit and run are pending against a Denbo man for an accident that occurred on Greene Valley Road at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, state police at Waynesburg said.

The man allegedly failed to negotiate a curve, went off the road and struck a tree. The man fled on foot but was located. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and the man suffered minor injuries.

Theft

A license plate and cellular telephone were taken from a pickup truck in Mather between 12:30 and 6 a.m. April 8, state police at Waynesburg said.

The owner is Brian Brottish of Mather. The license plate number is YFM6008.

Jefferson

Criminal mischief

Someone used rocks to break out windows in storage trailers behind the Jefferson Volunteer Fire Department on Route 188 between noon March 21 and 5 p.m. Thursday, state police at Waynesburg said.

Harassment

John Paul Lund, 26, of Carmichaels was cited for harassment for allegedly threatening Nicholas Richard Celli, 20, of Carmichaels at a location on East George Street at 10 p.m. Thursday, state police at Waynesburg said.

Simple assault

Gary Lynn Riley, 36, of Waynesburg was arrested for simple assault following an incident at a home at 5 p.m. Thursday, state police at Waynesburg said.

Riley allegedly used a vehicle to run over the foot of DeEtta Riley, 33, of Waynesburg. She went to Greene County Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Theft of services

State police at Waynesburg said charges of theft of services are pending against a female resident of Riviera Mobile Home Park after a Charter Communications cable line was found spliced from a neighboring trailer.

Disorderly conduct

Linda Guthrie, 52, of Riviera Mobile Home Park, Dilliner, was cited for disorderly conduct after she allegedly threatened John Hawkinberry, 49, of Dilliner when Charter Communications found their cable lines spliced together, state police at Waynesburg said.

Criminal mischief

A mailbox in Oliver No. 2 was damaged between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday, state police said.

The owner is Martha L. Stramat, 73, of Uniontown.

One-vehicle accident

No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident on Roderick Road at 9:20 p.m. Sunday, state police said.

A vehicle driven by John Samuel Stanislaw, 33, of Fairbanks was traveling east on the road when he hit a deer and lost control, ran off the road and hit a tree.

Criminal mischief

Traci Pigford of Uniontown was cited for criminal mischief twice following two incidents at Lemon Wood Acres that occurred early April 10, state police said.

At 3:30 a.m., Pigford allegedly damaged the screen door of Gina Fuller of Uniontown. At 5:40 a.m., Pigford allegedly broke out Fuller’s window.

Culvert struck

One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident on New Salem Road at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, state police said.

A vehicle driven by Dana Gaines of Uniontown was traveling on the road when the driver lost control and struck a culvert. Gaines was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered minor injuries, police said.

Traffic accident

No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident on Upper Middletown Road at 12:55 a.m. March 29, state police said.

A vehicle driven by Neil Price of Smock was traveling on the road when the vehicle got a flat tire and the undercarriage was damaged, police said.

Point Marion

Harassment

Jerry Cottrell and Carol Cottrell, both of Point Marion, were each cited for harassment for an incident that occurred at their home at 12:30 a.m. Monday, state police said.

Police said the pair had an argument and they both slapped and pushed each other.

Disorderly conduct

James J. Hall was cited for disorderly conduct following an incident on College Street near Monarch at 7:15 p.m. Monday, state police said.

Hall was stopped for riding an ATV on the road and when police attempted to write citations, Hall allegedly refused to go to his vehicle and became loud and disorderly. Police said after several warnings to go to his vehicle, Hall was arrested for misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Burglary

George Noga told Brownsville police that someone entered B&R Discount Store through a rear window and removed cartons of cigarettes valued at $2,169. An additional $450 in damage was done to the window.

The incident was reported April 13.

Brownsville

Two injured

Two people received minor injuries in an accident on Market Street in Brownsville on April 9. The accident occurred around 10:34 a.m., when a vehicle driven by Jean Thompson, 82, of Belle Vernon collided with a vehicle driven by Beverly Wright, 52, of Daisytown.

Wright and a passenger in her car, Kristie Caster, 16, of 300 Noble Road, Brownsville, were taken by ambulance to Brownsville General Hospital.

Disorderly

Redstone Township police April 14 cited Michael Ray Thompson, 24, of South Hills Terrace, Brownsville, with disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and defiant trespassing after he refused to leave a treatment room at Brownsville General Hospital. He was arraigned before District Justice Randy Abraham and jailed in lieu of $25,000 percentage bond.

Harassment

Redstone Township police are investigating a case of harassment by communication reported by Helen Newlan, 45, of Stone Church Road, New Salem.

Newlan told police she received approximately 15 hang-up calls on Saturday night.

Quad stolen

Barrie Davies, 45, of Thompson 1 Road, Republic, told police that someone removed a 2002 Yamaha Warrior quad from his property.

Davies said the theft of the purple and white vehicle occurred between midnight and 6 a.m. Sunday. The quad is valued at $5,200.

Trespassing

Redstone Township police arrested Frankie Tarr, 24, of Brownsville Friday at 10:20 p.m. for allegedly crawling through a window at 102 Hunters Ridge.

Tarr was charged with criminal and defiant trespassing.

He was arraigned before District Justice Randy Abraham and jailed in lieu of $50,000 cash bond.

Tarr was on probation at the time of the incident.

Threats

Lena Hatch, 20, of Hunters Ridge told Redstone Township police Friday that a person known to her made threats toward her and her 2-year-old daughter.

Car recovered

A 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier that had been reported to the state police at Uniontown as stolen on March 22 was recovered by Redstone Township police Friday at 7 p.m.

The car was out of gasoline, but otherwise undamaged.

German Twp.

Charges pending

State police reported that charges are pending against a 16-year-old juvenile male from Masontown after he turned himself over to state police following his alleged involvement in a burglary at the Radio Shack in Carmichaels between 2 and 3:30 a.m. Monday.

Police noted that burglary charges are pending in Greene County and receiving stolen property charges are pending in Fayette County.
