Evangelist Sealy to host services at church

World Christian Outreach Ministries, 503 W. Georgia Ave., Connellsville, will host special services with Evangelist Greg Sealy this weekend. Meetings will be conducted today and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The Rev. Don Smith is pastor.

Sealy accepted the call to ministry at age 19 and prepared at the West Indies School of Theology in Trinidad. He graduated with a diploma in theology and holds a bachelor’s degree in Bible subjects from the Spirit of Truth Institute of Richmond, Va.

Over the past 27 years, Sealy has been a pastor in his native Barbados, in St. Lucia, Trinidad, Canada and West Virginia. Currently, with his wife, Lynda, he is pioneering a work in the inner city of Montgomery, Alabama.

Sealy has also lived in Florida and California. He has traveled extensively, preaching and teaching in conferences and special meetings in more than 430 churches in 18 states, three Canadian provinces and in nine other countries.

From August 1990 to September 1992, he wrote and donated a gospel column weekly to “Mountain Views’ in Glenville, W.Va.

He is the author of the book “Pleasing God Outside the Comfort Zone.’
