Beverly Irene Rodeheaver Christner, 80, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2002, in LaFayette Manor, Uniontown. She was born September 13, 1921, in Smithfield, Pa., the daughter of John and Bessie Rodeheaver.

Beverly is a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, was a graduate of Uniontown High School, and was last employed as a Waitress by Uniontown Country Club where she worked for 12 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene H. Christner, in 1960, a brother, James Rodeheaver, and her parents.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth J. Christner and wife, Willah, of Eastern, Pa.; one daughter, Beverly Steven and husband, Dean, of Anchorage, Alaska; two grandchildren: Kimberly Shaffer and Mark Christner; and two great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa.

Friends will be received in the Funeral Home today from Noon to 2 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Visitation continues on Monday, April 22, in Calvary United Methodist Church, Clark Street, from Noon until 1 p.m., the hour of Service with Dr. Thomas D. Whitehead officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Uniontown.
