Julia Gober Fillini
Julia Gober Fillini, 91, of Uniontown, Pa., Beloved Mother of Lorraine Fillini, died Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at her residence. She was born May 25, 1910, in New Geneva, Fayette County, Pa., a daughter of Andrew Gober and Anna Turchin Gober.
Mrs. Fillini was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown.
Her beloved husband, Risabelle “Razz” Fillini, died on October 22, 1995.
She was also preceded in death by eight brothers: Michael, John and Andrew Furin, Joseph, Steve and Anthony Petratus, Frank and George Gober, three sisters: Anna Ferary, Mary Johnson, Margaret Lingenfield, and her parents.
Surviving are a loving daughter, Lorraine Fillini of Uniontown, Pa.; a brother, Charles Gober and his wife, Judy, of Ada, Oklahoma; a sister, Pauline Gundelsheimer and her husband, Herbert, of Warrenton, Virginia; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The Family will receive Friends in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, April 22, until 9 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. in St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill Street, Uniontown, with Rev. Fr. Patrick O’Connor as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Uniontown.
Visitation was also held Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
