Dennis and Valerie Madorma of Penn Street, Perryopolis, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer, to Joseph McCallion of Frederick, Md., son of Joseph and Eileen McCallion of Illinois Drive, Lower Burrell. The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is a teacher of language arts at Washington County Board of Education, Hagerstown, Md.

Her fianc’ is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Municipal Police Academy, and Allegheny County Community College with an associate degree in criminology. He is deputy sheriff with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department in Rockville, Md.

A Nov. 23 wedding is planned.
