Nicole Marie Casini and Gary John Pillar were united in marriage on Nov. 17 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Uniontown. The Rev. James Fogg officiated the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Virgil and Jackie Casini of Lake Lynn. The bridegroom is the son of Mary A. Pillar of Oliver and the late Charles Pillar Sr.

Kristin Casini, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tara Dunham and Chris Pillar. Amanda Mashiana was the junior bridesmaid, and Samantha Pillar was the flower girl.

The best man was Jason Dunham. Groomsmen were Chris Burkovich and Jim Pillar. The ring bearer was Chad Pillar.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School and a 1999 and 2001 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s degree in secondary education. The bride is employed by Learning and Development Associates in Morrisville, N.C.

The bridegroom is a 1991 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and a 1996, 1999, and 2001 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. He earned his bachelor’s degree in social science, his master’s degree in geography and regional planning and a master’s degree in secondary education. He teaches Marine Ecology, Astronomy, and Earth Science for Millbrook Senior High School in Raleigh, N.C.

The couple resides in Raleigh.
