CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAS, COURT 505, Uniontown, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the gymnasium of St. John the Evangelist Church, Jefferson Street, Uniontown. TITLE 1 CONFERENCE will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Cox-Donahey Elementary School, Brownsville. Speaker, Dr. Shirley Babilya-Dickinson, will discuss her children’s book, “Children First: ABCs of School Success.’

BROWNSVILLE WOMEN’S DEMOCRAT CLUB will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Brownsville House. Cookie Dando, Watkins Party representative, will be the guest. Members are asked to bring a guest.

SALTLICK TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT will hold a ham and turkey supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the fire hall, Indian Head. Costs are $7 for adults and $3 for children.

NEARLY NEW SHOP, located in the basement of the Hopwood United Methodist Church, will be open from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clothes, jewelry and miscellaneous items will be sold.

THE ARC OF FAYETTE COUNTY will hold a spring fund raiser, Bake Off Murder Mystery dinner theater on May 17 at Becker’s Shady Side Inn. Cost is $40 per person. A silent auction and bake sale will also be held. For tickets, call 724-438-8416.

SENIOR ACTION COUNCIL OF FAYETTE COUNTY will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at the American Legion, Trottter. Speaker will be Lorraine Smithburger, claims representative, Social Security administration. She will speak on “Medicare and Retirement Test.’

ST. JOHN ALTAR SOCIETY OF PERRYOPOLIS will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the social center.
