Helen C. Jacobs Shipley, 78, of Confluence, died Saturday, April 20, 2002, at Somerset Hospital. She is survived by eight children, Merle E. and Wilbert P., Ronald W. and Roger L. Shipley, Gladys B. Sanner and Alda M. Peary all of Confluence, Beverly A. Garlitz of Mill Run, Nina L. Phillippi of Markelton; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; five brothers and two sisters.

Friends will be received at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence today until 1 p.m.
