Edward A. Karol, 71, of Allison, Pa., died Monday, April 22, 2002, in UPMC. He was born on October 11, 1930, in Allison, Pa., son of the late Paul and Elizabeth Kuchta Karol.

Edward was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of the American Legion Post No. 295 of Brownsville, Pa., and the Allison No. 1 Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife, Joan M. (Bobak) Karol; two sons, Edward Paul Karol and Dennis V. and wife, Cheryl Karol; two grandchildren, Edward Larry Karol and Leslie Ann Karol; and several nieces and nephews.

Private services were held under the direction of the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, Pa.
