Screening offered In conjunction with the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, the Greene County Cancer Coalition will sponsor a free skin cancer screening Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Greene County Vocational-Technical School. Dr. English, a dermatologist from Uniontown, will be on site to provide this service. Advance appointments can be made by calling the extension office at 724-627-3745. Drops-ins are welcome.

Celebration planned

The Rices Landing Reading Center, located on Main Street in Rices Landing, will hold a grand opening celebration Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The reading center is supported by the Greene County Library System and is located in the new Rices Landing Borough Building.

Children’s story time will begin at 11 a.m., and registration for prize drawings will be held throughout the day.
