Rose Marie Vaydovich
Rose Marie Schepisi Vaydovich, 76, formerly of Uniontown, Pa., died in Craven Regional Medical Center, Havelock, North Carolina, on Thursday, April 25, 2002. She was born July 22, 1925, in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of John Schepisi and Mildred Castoria Schepisi.
Rose Marie was a 1942 graduate of the former St. John Roman Catholic High School in Uniontown. She then attended the former Durbin Secretarial School, Connellsville, Pa., where she later taught.
Mrs. Vaydovich was a member of Annunciation Roman Catholic Church in Havelock. She was also a member of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary Post 1669, Uniontown, and an Honorary Member of the Preceptor Beta Rho Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Havelock, North Carolina.
Her husband, George Vaydovich, died October 18, 1963. Also deceased are a daughter, Carol Jean Richter, a son, John Vaydovich, a brother, John Schepisi Jr., a sister, Joan Mathews, and her parents.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy Nebraski and her husband, Ken, of Havelock, North Carolina, with whom she made her home; a sister, Virginia O’Brien and her husband, George, of Uniontown, Pa.; four grandchildren: John Nebraski and his wife, Anita, of Havelock, North Carolina, Richard Richter of Maple Heights, Ohio, Chuck Nebraski and his wife, Tara, of Havelock, North Carolina, and Jodi Richter of New Kensington, Pa.; a great grandson, Raymond Sias Nebraski; also many nieces and nephews who loved her very much. She will be dearly missed by her Family and Friends!
Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, April 30, until 9 a.m. at which time a Prayer Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Jefferson Street, Uniontown, with Rev. Fr. William J. Kiel as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
Parish Wake Service today at 3 p.m.
Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary Services will be held in the Funeral Home today at 3:30 p.m.
