UNITED CHRISTIAN CHURCH, Malden Road at East Malden Drive, California, will hold a chicken and biscuit dinner on Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Take-out orders will also be available. The church is also holding a rummage sale Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon. GOOD SAMARITAN CLASS of the Franklin Memorial Methodist Church, Dunbar, will hold a rummage sale and flea market Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A bake sale will also be held on Friday. Saturday will be bag day, all you can put in a grocery bag for $1.
THE 4CS of the First Christian Church, Republic, will hold a used clothing sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the new garage building. A $1 fill-a-bag sale will be held.
COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Evans Manor, Uniontown, will hold its annual basement sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Good, used clothing, flea market items, home baked goods and craft items will be sold. Lunch will also be available. The church is located near the Save-A-Lot store, corner of West Penn Boulevard and Edison Street.
LADIES AID of St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Brownsville, will hold a rummage sale from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
BROWNSVILLE AREA BAND BOOSTERS will hold a pasta dinner today at Hugo’s Restaurant. There will be two settings, 5 to 6:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 8. Price is $5 per person.
